GRIT Training Series

High intensity interval training (HIIT)

There’s a reason high-intensity interval training (HIIT) is one of the hottest fitness trends on the planet – it’s the fastest way to get fit, and in shape. Short, sharp bursts of effort allow you to reach maximum training zones and that’s the secret to athletic performance.

PROVEN: RESULTS SOAR WITH LES MILLS GRIT™ SERIES

In conjunction with researchers at PennState University, two groups of 42 fit adult exercisers were tested. Both groups did five hours per week of excellent, professionally designed exercise.

Group 1 did three hours of cardio (either BODYATTACK™, BODYCOMBAT™, RPM™ or BODYSTEP™) and two 60-minute BODYPUMP™ classes.

Group 2 did exactly the same routine except it substituted one 60-minute cardio session for two 30-minute LES MILLS GRIT™ Series workouts.

After six weeks Group 1 achieved excellent results, recording marked increases in oxygen consumption and strength while decreasing triglycerides, decreasing body fat and reducing waist circumference. Group 2, who did the LES MILLS GRIT™ Series workouts, enjoyed the same benefits but on a much grander scale.

How often should you take a class?

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength and Plyo is designed to complement your training schedule. Doing a LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength/ Plyo workout once or twice a week will give you awesome results.

Level of fitness

LES MILLS GRIT Training Series workouts are challenging, but it's challenge that gets results. If you're serious about taking your fitness to the next level, then these are the workouts for you. Your coach will give you options that allow you to tailor the intensity to suit your own needs. You don't need to get fit in order to participate, use these workouts as the fastest road to great fitness!

What do you need to bring with you

Your usual workout clothes, a drink bottle, towel and some serious commitment! We'll provide the rest.
